This is a weekend trip, diving with the seals and other amazing sites at Lundy Island. Lundy Island is a granite outcrop situated where the Bristol Channel meets the Atlantic Ocean. Lundy has an inquisitive colony of seals as well as numerous other sites, such as the wreck of the Robert and the beautiful corals on the Knoll Pins.
This weekend of diving is suitable for all levels of diving and if you’re not used to diving in UK waters we can ensure you’re teamed with one of the Purple Turtle Diving staff.
We will be staying Ilfracombe in shared accommodation. Breakfast will be provided prior to getting on the boat and arrangements can be made for a packed lunch. We will be heading out for dinner on the Saturday night for a lovely meal and your tanks will be filled for you for the diving on Sunday.
Approximate schedule will be as follows:
Friday, the 15th of September:
- Arrive at accommodation to meet with Purple Turtle Diving staff and group
- Room allocation
- Drinks at the accommodation
Saturday, the 16th of September:
- Breakfast
- Walk / drive to the boat (depending on how much equipment you need to move!)
- Full day on the boat
- Dinner and drinks in Ilfracombe
Sunday, the 17th of September:
- Breakfast
- Walk / drive to the boat (depending on how much equipment you need to move!)
- Full day on the boat
Cost: £375 including 2 nights accommodation, breakfast, diving, air fills, 2 days diving from Obsession 2 (with possibly the fastest lift in the world!) and dinner on the Saturday night. A deposit of £175 is required to secure your place and the full balance is payable a week prior to departure.
