Course duration: 2 evening pool session on a weekend and 2 days (scheduled courses are run over 2 weekends)
Prerequisites: 10 years old, complete a Medical Form
Course cost (includes Open Water Diver theory materials, log book, equipment hire, pool entry and certification costs): £499 per participant. To add on the Dry Suit Diver speciality, there is a course cost of £125.
Course description: The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular entry level scuba diving course worldwide. The course teaches participants the theory and skills required to be able to conduct open water scuba dives with a qualified dive buddy.
The course comprises of 3 sections: the theory sections which teach participants about some of the key principles in diving such as how pressure affects our bodies, the confined water sessions (pool sessions) which teach participants basic scuba skills and the open water qualifying dives to review the skills learnt and explore the underwater world!
We are able to offer the Dry Suit Speciality (more information available here) as an add on to this course for an additional £125.
