First Aid skills are skills that everyone should have and keep refreshed in the hope that we never need to use them. The First Aid courses we offer are Emergency First Response courses, which are recognised worldwide. The courses are not diving specific, however we do introduce some hints and tips for divers.
First Aid Courses
The First Aid courses we offer at Purple Turtle Diving include:
- Emergency First Response Primary (CPR) and Secondary (First Aid) Care with AED – This course teaches you the foundations of being able to help others in the unfortunate event of an accident, injury or illness and how to sustain life until the Emergency Services arrive. This course includes the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
- Emergency First Response Care for Children – This course teaches you how to provide emergency care to children and infants under the age of 8 years old, with an emphasis on learning about the types of emergencies that children face and how they differ from those faced by adults.
- Emergency First Response Instructor Course – This course builds on the candidates existing EFR skills to enable you to teach the Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care course and the Care for Children course

Course costs include all materials required for the course.

A non-refundable deposit of at least 50% of the course fee is required to secure your place on a course, with the full course cost payable 7 days prior to commencement of the course. If adequate notice is provided, participants may be able to change to another date if required at no or minimal cost.
