Course duration: 1 confined session that can be split over 2 evenings or a 2 hour session, 1 theory session (approximately 2 hours) and 3 dives over 1 day
Prerequisites: (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent, 15 years old
Course cost: includes certification fee: £275 per person for a scheduled course. Sidemount specific equipment hire (harness and BCD, regulators, weights and tanks) is £50 for the full course.
Course description: The course introduces recreational sidemount diving, which presents divers with a different approach to equipment configuration that has stemmed from cave diving, allowing divers to be more streamlined with less drag.
