Have you wondered what lies beyond your recreational qualifications? Ready to enhance your current skills and add additional equipment and procedures to your dives to improve safety and allow you to dive to sites that are currently out of your depth? Then this course could be the course for you!
Course duration: One to two days including 3 dives
Prerequisites: 18 years old (15 with parental consent), SDI Open Water Diver or equivalent, 25 dives, complete the RSTC medical form
Course cost (includes instruction, manual and certification costs): £420 per participant. Not included are site entry, equipment hire and gas.
Course description: This one to two day course is an introductory course that expands on recreational training by improving dive planning methods, in-water skills such as advanced buoyancy and situational awareness, and streamlining existing gear configurations in a controlled and fun learning environment, while wearing technical twinset configuration. You learn about proper gear selection and preparation, buddy gas matching, mastery of S.T.A.R.T, trim, finning techniques and body position.
Course scheduling: The TDI Intro To Tec course is run over one to two days (depending on when we are able to dive), most commonly at Vobster Quay but we can run these courses at other locations.
