Course description: The Rescue Diver course expands your existing knowledge about how to prevent problems and how to manage them if they occur. The course is probably one of the most fun, challenging and rewarding courses you can take as a recreational diver. You will learn about self rescue, recognising and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers and rescuing unresponsive divers.
The course comprises of a theory session, a confined session to practice some of the more challenging skills and two open water days where you put in practice a number of skills and scenarios. We are able to schedule the course over 3 days or 2 evenings (1 theory and 1 confined) and 2 days. The confined water sessions are optional, however we do recommend taking this opportunity.
If you would like to combine the Rescue Diver Course with the EFR Primary and Secondary Care course (more information here) the additional course fee is £115 per participant.
